Very nice looking cheese board. I too love the grain of that wood. Where does Tunisian Wild Olive come from?

Hi well Tunisia is in North West Africa on the mediterranean coast between Algeria and Libya.
The Olive Trees here are in small numbers and wild unlike Greek and Spanish Olive trees are Cultivated for Olives and oil.
The availability of this grade of timber in the UK is very rare. I just happen to know some one in the business who has Scouts in Africa to find such Timbers to order.

Nice to have connections, Bazz. Especially those that hook you up with beautifully grained woods like this! Thanks for sharing.
