It’s not cheaper than IKEA, but it’s better!
25mm (1 inch) thick laminated birch front, back, sides and upper head boards. Solid beech corner poles, 38×50mm. Bellow mattress are oak moldings as flooring.

I built my daughter a bed, the wood cost more than two of the most expensive beds at ikea… But it will be around for her daughter to use!

IKEA , That is a Bad Four Letter Word to a Woodworker. Nice job on the Bed and I am sure it will be around for much longer than one from that other Place.
