I found some Hickory in my lumber pile that had a natural edge and I thought it might make a nice looking cheese slicing board, it didn’t turn out too bad, I also made some qrtr sawn Sycamore, qrtr sawn White Oak, Black Cherry, and a couple other Hickory boards. these are one of the easiest projects to make, I made all ten of these today. it took about 6 hours to make them. I’ll take them to the Farmers Market tomorrow.

Very nice Smitty, great idea. They should sell very well. If you don’t mind me asking, what do you sell them for. I get $20-25 for my boards at craft shows. They sell really good so maybe I am too cheap. And I am definitely gonna look through the lumber stack for some natural edge stuff.

I placed my order on Tue. and got them in on Thur. good service from cheeseslicer.com.

Outstanding Smitty! You are becoming the cheese slicing King!!
I’ve never seen anyone do the “live edge”.
Nice job!

Can you confirm the website, it says the domain is for sale?
