When my husband and I went to New Orleans I saw a sign like this hanging outside of a shop. I thought that it looked cool. Well my cousin loves fleur-de-lis so I decided to make it in their surname and date they were married. The information is only on one side.

I made the sign from cedar fencing, all except the fleur-de-lis, it is made from Baltic Birch. I wanted it to be white.
I also use a router to make the name and date, ( my first time doing that), I need a little more practice. The sign measures 14” wide x 17” long x 1/2” thick. The date is actually sitting on top of the fleur-de-lis and for the name I inserted it.

Thanks for looking.

Very nicely crafted. Your freehand router work is absolutely outstanding—especially for a first!
