My wife was sick of having a giant dywall beam in our master. To wrap it in wood and have it stained would cost me more than I wanted to spend… Solution, wrap that sucker in hardwood flooring that I got at a discount. $300 did two rooms of beams.

I have painted pine beams in my house. The previous owner painted them right before we bought the house and now all the knots are showing through the paint. I was just about to repaint them this weekend but I have some spare hardwood floor left over and I think you just inspired me. Thanks

You should not complain $300.
It’s well worth.
