Small box with feet
The box is 5” x 5” x 4”. It is rose wood veneer over my standard 1/2” baltic birch ply box. This was my first test box to see if how I thought a cavetto top should be built would work in practice. The edging and feet are African black wood and the lining dark green velvet. The feet were mitered and cut on the scroll saw.

Thanks for looking, comments or suggestions are always welcome.

Paul

I like this. Looks great. Can’t believe its Baltic birch ply. Great job.

Beautiful—and I love the feet!

Nice and it looks like you got the cavetto top right. I know I might get in trouble for this but , Veneer is like MakeUp for wood , makes a lot of things look better. :)
