My newly patented 3 shot repeating crossbow !! Fires 3 shots without reloading! A giant leap forward in technology 1000 years overdue !!

This started off as a sort of a joke for a friend that always misses with his first shot. As a closet engineer I set out to see if I could get off a second arrow and 3 ended up being the magical number. The design is patented as is the really unique trigger mechanism that allows for a single shot every time the trigger is pulled.. It shoots, left arrow, right arrow and finally the center arrow as fast as you can send them. I am in the process of building another seperate company around this project and hope to sell it to someone that can produce these in mass. ( the zombies are coming you know ! ) or license the rights to it. I am making 2 more models. The Zombie stopper, ( Sinister black truck bed liner finish ) and the Dragon Slayer. ( Dyed curly Maple with carvings ). It turns out that I really enjoy hand carving gunstocks ( or crossbow stocks ) and The Dragon model has scales carved into it as checkering. I’ll post pics as I feel comfortable with the work.

I have 3 models of this bow and one is actually called rthe Zombie stopper !! The Dragon Slayer is the one I am the most in love with! It has a really exotic Tiger Maple stock and is absolutely gorgeous! I’ll post a pic when it is complete!

I originally built it just because I wondered if I could, then I realized what a really cool idea it is ! I am upgrading it every day to get more out of it and eventually hope to sell the patents I have on it, but as it sits right now, you could not pay me enough to stand in front of it at any range !! It fires the 3 arrows as fast as you can pull the trigger 3 times.
It is a true semi automatic crossbow !!

Dang! another double post, I wish there was a way to completely delete an obvious mistake (like tossing a mark once cut twice piece of wood)

I’m not a lawyer, but I will say that if you’re serious about patenting this, you need to be careful about what you post in a forum like this. Not because someone will steal your idea (not particularly likely), but because in the US, public disclosure starts a 1 year clock—if you don’t file your patent within the year, you’re out of luck. In other countries, disclosure precludes patenting altogether.

Good luck!
