I made these for my 3 year old boys (twins) who watch Robin Hood daily and wanted a bow that looked like mine. They were a lot of fun to make as I basically just made up the design as I went along. The string is just a light bungee cord, and I decided it’d probably be to everyone’s benefit if I didn’t make any arrows until I teach my boys a little bit about Hunter Safety. The wood is nothing special. The body was cut from 2” GDF and the limbs are 1/2” poplar. Enjoy!

Great project—I’m sure your twins love them!

My son asked me to make something similar. They were playing Hunger Games and were wanting a more realistic bow rather than a stick. Thanks

That’s very cool! I would have loved to have had something like that when I was a young’un! I’m sure your boys will have great times with them!
