Lets face it…I have fun anytime…and especially when I’m in my shop.
These are some chunks of cypress knees that I had and I let my imagination have fun…!

Greg,

If you sell these would you have to call it work? LOL!

That’s some really wild stuff. Very cool.

Really really COOL.
Love ‘em.

Bob.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

Simply beautiful. I could see these making a good conversation piece.

Nature most definitely has a natural and creative way…I just couldn’t throw these away and just decided to clean them up, flatten out the back side, cut some keyhole hangers and put a finish on them.

Doc…I would be really hard pressed to call this work but I will most likely take them to some shows and see if anyone buys them. I thought about fastening them to a large sinker cypress board and calling it abstract art…I’ve seen weirder stuff sell. If they don’t sell by the December show I have a permanent place on my office wall for them…

The bottom pic looks like a torso cutaway. Strange but sweet.

:) I have a couple “crotches” of wood in my shop that I’ll have to take some pics and show tomorrow. I rarely get to share my ladies with anyone. It’s weird but beautiful.

There must be something wrong with me. All I see are weird and disturbing anatomical nightmares!!!
I mean, I get what you are doing and it is very cool, but maybe it’s just the way my strange mind works. LOL

I would imagine that seeing things differently is what makes us creative…sure is better and wins out over seeing things in an everyday traditional way…!
