After losing two cousins in the past year I have decided to go a head and build my own urn. This is something I have always planned on doing, the first cousin that passed had built his own urn so this got me to thinking that now was the time. I started to build a prototype ans as I was moving on with the build I really liked the look of it and decided that this would be it.
The urn measures 12” wide 11” high 6” deep. It has a inch and a half deep tray on top to put personal items. The ashes can bev inserted through the bottom. The urn is made of birch with a early American gel stain and finished with . Watco spray lacquer.

Looks like it might be fancy for you. I would picture something more like a pony Keg. Ah, I just kid. Its a real beaut and better then picking a Grave Site.

Nice. Are the front and back real panels, the pegs real?
