This is a coffee filter box i made out of padauk & purpleheart. I burned “Coffee Filters” in the front with a hand held wood burning tool. It serves it’s purpose well. Thanks for looking.

Mark, this is a great concept. I like the fact that it is a box designed to do a specific job. The box itself is well constructed. I think you did an especially nice job on the wood burning…that is not an easy task. I don’t know that I would have chosen to combine those particular two woods, but everyone has different tastes when it comes to wood choices and those are beautiful woods. It helps readers when you let them know the dimensions of you projects. Keep boxing and keep posting.

Hi Mark. Nicely detailed an well made box. I love the handle with the coffee grinder and cup motif, it really sets the whole thing off perfectly. A great gift idea for Christmast!
