Using a plan from I build this cradle styled to look like a boat known as a pram.

I used pine for the bow and stern with plywood bottom and sides. I deviated from the plan a bit since this was quite a challenge to build. I purchased an oversize mattress, disassembled it, cut it to size and then sewed it back together. Likewise the bumper had to be modified to fit the non-standard shape of this cradle.

You did good and it looks very well thought out. But, you left out the most important detail..WHO did you build this beautiful cradle for?

The cradle is for my grandson Jacob due to arrive soon.

What a fun challenging build. I can see this getting used by many generations to come.

Mike you did a great job. I’m working on a little project with compound angled joints so I can appreciate the work you put into this wonderful project. Well done.
