I started turning a couple of months ago beginning with pens. I am trying to branch out with other forms. This goblet is part of this process. There are a few things I hope to do better with the next one. I would concentrate on making a rounder form. I also believe I could have made the stem a bit thinner. And finally the base is a bit too large. That all said, I like it! I finished with Turner’s Polish and wax.

Hi Tim;
You’re pretty tough on yourself.
I think you have a beautiful design there.
However, with that never satisfied type attitude, you can only become more of a master!

Beautiful goblet. You did better than a lot of turnesr could do, including myself. That is a good job.
