TREE OF LIFE in OLIVE ASH by BazzA. Inspired by Kelly Scrollingmom.
This is Olive Ash with natural light & dark shades of grain. Olive Ash is much sort after for veneers but here it is one inch thick and 10 inch across, dipped in Danish Oil and over the next few days I will polish it with beeswax.
Not to be confused with Olive wood this is olive Ash. A pleasure to cut with either band saw or scrollsaw and seems quite stable and has a lovely grain that pops right out with a little Danish Oil.
I have fancied making some sort of Tree of Life for a few months now but could not quite seem to find the right image until I saw a wonderful project made by Kelly. So this is my take on it and hope I have done it some Justice .Hope Kelly Approves of my version.
Thank you for checking out my project I really enjoyed making it and hope some of you like it.
Regards from BazzA.
