Maple and walnut stool

This stool has a coopered seat on it made from 8/4 maple. The base is made from walnut and has mitered tennon joints in it. The base is attached with wedged maple dowels. Finished with Maloof oil.

A most impressive piece I must say. !!

A couple of extra shots showing the joints in the legs would do it justice.
