The wheel and the tree were colored with hot Rit Dye; the gold ornaments on the tree were made using gold glitter fingernail polish. Than sealed with tung oil, buffed on a wheel.

Very nice job!!!!
Got me thinking about the days when a scroll saw was called a jig saw because that’s what you made jig saw puzzles with. And a jig saw now was a saber saw then God knows why these names were changed, the saber saw blade looks more like a saber and than a jig. ;-)
