Brother retired after 8 years USMC followed by 12 years USN. The box was a fun, easy build, the interior was the pain. I’ll stick to making sawdust as sewing is obviously not my bag. Much thanks to my wife for making the uniforms come even close to meeting up.

Cherry wood, natural finish.

Awesome looking shadow box! I love the way you “married” the two Services inside the box. I’m sure your brother will really appreciate it!

Very unique, and a great job. a little degrading to an Marine uniform though, but all is forgiven. Thanks to your brother for his service.

Wow, that is quite a unique display, one your brother can definitely be proud of and a real family treasure. Well done!

This is a wonderfully creative project. It looks great.

BTW, do you ever catch the uniforms fighting with each other?

Tell your wife she did an EXCELLENT JOB of mating the halves together.

Overall, this thing is something his children, grandchildren and GREAT grandchildren can be proud of FOREVER!
