This is what I call my “Indiana Woods” pen. The upper 3 ‘lighter woods” on the pen are of White Oak. Upper two and lower two darker woods are of Black Cherry, the one in the middle is Walnut. The two “lighter woods” on the bottom are of Spalted Maple. These are randomly placed, sometimes more/less of either wood may be exposed as I glue these up in larger “blocks”. I also use other woods such as Ambrosia Maple, Pear and Pine. The Finish is CA Glue, two thinner and six medium viscosity coats, polished to 12,000MM sandpaper and then hit with plastic polis and the buffer.
