This is a “new” gate i made mainly for our new dog to keep him off the carpet. I harvested some solid oak 6 panel hotel conference doors. I have been sitting on the lumber for about 6 months trying to figure out what i could do with it. My 6 and 3 year old kids decided they would break the old poplar one i made so why not. I didn’t want to make it real plain so i fluted the banisters to dress it up. Overall very pleased with the outcome, and the wife loves it. Once again thanks for looking.

Looks good. But please check the width of the spindles cause it looks like a dog or baby can get caught between them.
