This is a segmented turned wood cremation urn. It was designed and made for a very special person who passed away much too early in life. We will always miss him, for his passing left a big hole in the many lives he touched while he was here.

Dimensions are 14 1/2” high and 6 3/8” diameter. The woods are mesquite, hard maple and purple heart. The threads were cut by a fellow woodturner. It has an interior volume of approximately 160 cubic inches. It has approximately 250 different pieces of wood in its construction.

This is absolutely Beautiful!! I have been wanting to make an urn for a loved one. I have picked out the woods I will use but havent been in the right frame of mind to make it yet. You have inspired me to move forward and give it a try.
