Shop Tip - Adjustable Wedge Making Jig

To use the jig, adjust the screws in the notch to form the desired shape of the wedge to be made and close the lid (the filed screw on the lid holds the stock down).

Points to remember: Orient the grain of the stock properly and continue the cuts until the stock is too small to handle safely. Shop safety must be observed at all times.

Wedges have too many uses in a shop to list. Two examples are given here.
