Cigar Carry Case

I like to smoke an occasional cigar but carrying one can be challenging, who wants to break a cigar? So I bought a plastic carry tube and it worked but it was plastic.

Then I saw the Rouge Cigar Kit. Like a giant pen kit, the Rouge has brass tubes and chrome hardware. It’s a nice project and I laminated two types of wood to make the blank. I think it was Maple and Mahogany.

After I made it, I thought that I might try another without the kit. Just drill and turn the blank on a chuck and have a tenon at the center to open the two parts.

Stay well everyone,
John ;-)

Real nice work on the case. Its been awhile since I enjoyed a good cigar. Your case would make it worth carring around.
