Very nicely done. I really like your wheel design. Looks like wheels and platform were laminated. How did you do the axles?

Wow! You are so inventive, Boris. Every time you make a new project you lift woodworking to a new level.
Could you perhaps tell a little about the rest of the bike? It looks so cool and I might want to make one for my son..

@kaerlighedsbamsen, you can find further informations on this scooter here. It was made during a special event to show what is possible with wood.

Quite enjoyed the video you made. Lots of different people parttaking. Was this some sort of educational event?
And: Want to share some of your thoughts regarding design and materials?

@kaerlighedsbamsen, yes it was a sort of demonstration for non-woodworkers.

I think I like to bend the wood to keep it strong with funny curves. Glue is very important in this project then it was not as natural as it seems to be.
In this project, the design was guided by the functionality. But I'm happy with the wheels, they are nice and completely functional … maybe they have to be stronger, but for a first prototype, it was a success.
