I had previously restored a warehouse cart for a customer and added some reclaimed beams to make it a coffee table (see previous project post). They wanted an end table to match and I had some drops of the same wood used from the warehouse cart. Came up with a simple angle iron frame and “aged” it with vinegar and salt solution. Then two coats of Penetrol on the steel after a light brushing.

Looks like a great project. Are you a Diresta fan?

Thanks – never heard of “Diresta” before , I googled it and found Jimmy Diresta – is that what you mean? Not familiar with him but I do watch DIY shows all the time. I will check it out
