Been making a set of shelves for our next kitchen (when we eventually move), Made them in oak from old tables etc apart from the pine backing which I bought ready made. (1) Went out to get some architrave to use as the moulding at the top, 10’ was over £40 so made my own out of some scrap. (2) Then made a facade with some pierced work. My wife loves the country and animals etc. (3) Didn’t have enough width to make the sides in one piece so had to joint two lengths together for both sides. All shelves, sides, and joints cut and ready to assemble.(4) I knew those clamps would come in handy one day. (5) completed job.
4 foot high, 3 foot wide, 6 inches deep.
