In our old house in Texas I wanted to build a window seat for my daughter Brooke in a bay window she had in her room. I built the window seat in the spring of 2010. The project is a mixture of birch plywood and pine. Lots of storage and at the time I was about 6’ and 240lbs and I could fit in there so imagine the toys that were no longer on the floor. I also ran the electrical outlet to the front. This project was built specifically for storage and to provide extra seating.

Looks great… and she quickly figured out that she has a STAGE to perform on too!

Good job Dad!
