Been holding onto the cut-offs from our kitchen table for 2 years with the intention of making them into an end grain cutting board someday. Well, that day finally came. Made from solid maple with walnut feet. It is end grain and I don’t think you can tell from these pictures but the maple is T&G’d together. Saturated with mineral oil and ready to use.
The small square dimensions make it look like a mini butcher block table to me.
Going as a gift to the Uncle that supplied the wood for our kitchen table.
