Asian style table

This is a zen-design inspired table that i made for the ‘spirit and tradition’, class. I got a C on this… The consept was swedish tradition… Hehe my bad.

The pictures show:
1 table trom the front
2 table from the top
3 leg detail with 4way dovetail
4 detail of sliding dovetail
5 cad plans

Materials are ash (Fraxinus latifolia), golden rain ( Koelreuteria paniculata) and glass.
Finnish is soap on the ash and shellac on the golden rain.

Even though you missed the theme I would have still given you at least a C+

Well I got A on all criteria exept by the design teacher, he loves danish design and thinks this is to simple and clean…
