Recently just finished my first stitching horse. This one is for a friend of mine who has been doing leatherworking for about 40 years. I’m almost finished with my second one which is for myself.

The entire thing is solid white oak. General Finishes “Spiced Walnut” and Satin Armor-Seal.

The last picture shows it being used. It holds leather for you while you stitch/sew the leather.

Very nicely done, and no doubt it will make stitching easier, more accurate and enjoyable.

Very nice. I just finished a ‘portable’ version so I could stitch a few belts.

This one isn’t exactly portable, although I guess if you get a big enough guy anything is lol. The jaws are 6 1/2 inches front to back and 32 inches tall. I’m guessing this thing weighs somewhere around 35 pounds lol
