Cooler Stand with Wooden Hinges

Made from western red cedar with simple red oak hinges. The only finish is Thompson’s Water Seal. The outside dimensions of the box are approx. 21-3/8w x 13-3/4d x 15h.

No, it’s not carved. Just cut a thin piece of stock diagonally, then lined up the grain the way I wanted it and cut it out on the scroll saw. The stem is redheart, but I’m not sure about the rest of it. Thanks for the comments.

No, it’s epoxied in, but it has a plug in the bottom for drainage.
