Poker Table

A friend of mine who hosts our monthly poker game was talking about ordering a table online for over $3k. I told him I had never tried something like that, but I thought I could make him one for just the cost of materials alot cheaper than that. It ended up being just under $1000 for all the materials. The corners were made to hold his specific beer glasses. One lesson learned was that the difference in humidity between my house and his caused the wood to swell forcing me to redo the cup holders slides.

Just the right place to go if one wants to make ‘poker faces’.....

Very nice work on a worthwhile project.

Well at least you still get to use the table and at that size you know the table is not moving to a new place for every game.

Have your say...
