Wooden Money Clip

I’ve been carrying a wooden money clip for about 20 years or so. It’s nice to not have to lug a wallet along for everything. You can get an ID, credit card and some bills in there with no trouble, and it fits in your front pocket where it is much harder to get picked!

This one is out of maple and total time was under 2 hours. Most of that was changing out a new belt on my large sander! I love upcycling projects, and using up scrap wood! I also think this would do very well at craft shows!

Thanks for looking

Peter, that’s a great idea. Nice work.

helluvawreck – Thanks!

Oliver15 – I would leave some more material around the ‘hinge’ but I bet it would be okay.

Great idea for those little pieces of scrap. I will be making a few of these soon. Thanks for sharing.
