Box Elder Burl Saturn Bowl

This is a Box Elder burl saturn bowl that I finished this weekend. The bowl is 2” deep the wing is 10” across and 1/16” thick. As you can see the wing moved a little bit on me because of how thin it is. This burl was very dry when I was cutting it. Finished with multiple coats of wipe on poly then waxed and buffed. More beautiful work Michael, this is very thin indeed bet it sounded great running at speed,
your cover shot reminds of a crater on the moon.
