Old Tools.....New Life

This is a gate I built for my daughter. Kind of a rustic approach.

All cedar. Mortise and tenon joints (glued and screwed). No finish to allow the cedar to age naturally like the tools. Stout hinges from the box store.

Most are old tools that I needed to retire and some were found at garage sales and antique shops. Hopefully the old tools can keep on working for a few more years…...................

Really neat. True re-cycle. Bet it swings level in addition?

No ONE can claim you can NOT find your tools! They are the gate!

I was wondering where my old hay hooks had gone?

I bet it get a few comments!
