My wife and I were in a department store looking at furniture and we came across a table similar to this that was priced at well over $1000.00 (Yes, One THOUSAND). She liked the table and I liked the challenge so I took a picture or two before we left and when we got home I started to build it. I have sold one on a crafting page so far but will be keeping the original.

Very nice build. I like the soft front look to it. Does it have any finish on it?

Thanks Dave. Didn’t put any finish on the table. The wood looked great in its natural state so I didn’t push my luck.

Perfect!!!!!! James, it looks great. Looks and fits exactly right in that spot. You did a good job and I bet it looks better than the one in the store for $1,000.00.

Well done.

Regards,

Cliff.

Looks great! I have had my eye on plans for a larger table with a similar appearance (http://www.shanty-2-chic.com/2014/05/restoration-hardware-inspired-dining-table-for-110.html ) but no place in my house for it. Yours looks a bit like a smaller version that gives me ideas, either to keep or sell.

Have your say...
