I had originally planned to make a large US flag. This would have been to big to hang on the wall. So I made the US flag smaller. I had a couple hundred left over ping pong balls so I made an Irish flag and a Swiss flag for my wife. Her dad was Swiss. I’m a mongrel with Irish on both sides of the family tree.

This was meant to be a small filler project while waiting for glue or varnish to dry. I got tired of tripping over the pieces and decided to finish it up.

I bought the balls on Amazon. They are not regulation balls. They are cheapos meant for beer pong, not real, (fast), table tennis.

I bought 3 gross for about $40. I didn’t want to waste them so I made the extra flags.

Now you need to move on to the flags of countries like Mexico or Brazil with the detailed pictures on them.
I’m sure that would require them to be quite large!

Nice work. Interesting project.
