to KodaBear…..i finished it after assembled all …with warm linseed oil and beeswax mix,then polished,but i think better choise is mineral oil and beeswax mix…linseed oil litle bit stink in room…

Do bugs try and live in the gaps? Is it annoying to keep clean? I like the looks of this but I’m not sure how dirty it would get in those spaces. I kinda want one.

very good question, I put it in the living room, as under flowers, I was afraid that it will be a lot of dust and gaps but no tragedy …. when you’re scared a lot of dirt , paint with polyurethane lacquer but no use wax… everitime you can clean with vacuum cleaner

Thanks I was thinking about using it outside and I live in the country so bugs in it are a concern of mine lol
