A buddy of mine had body parts for my old truck and wanted way to much for them, so he wanted a cedar chest for his 6 year old grandchild. So a trade was made. He would not install the parts so I told him he had to do the finish work. made from solid oak, all but the panels. turned out nice and I would have done finish work if he wouldn’t. Only bad thing is now the wife wants one. Add it to honey do list I told her.

Nice work – box or dove tails on the feet. Looks like lots of tight joinery.

I used dove tails on the feet, wanted to dove tail the box but my jig is not large enough and i have never cut them by hand. Thats one for my list-always learning while wood working. He has not picked this up yet and I can’t stand to see a project unfinished, so it will get stained and finished. pictures to come when done. thanks
