Coffee Table for my Daughter

My daughter decided that she wanted me to make her a coffee table this summer for her birthday and she even found the plan for me. This is a slight modification of the Farmhouse Coffee Table that is demonstrated on DIYpete.com. If I ever make one again, I will find a wood planer to buy or borrow since the boards on the top are not perfectly flush. Each build is a learning experience! Thanks for taking a look and making suggestions!

Very nice table, should make your daughter very happy. Very similar to a table I made for my son, “farm house” style, so I shouldn’t worry too much about the top boards & how flush they are, it’s supposed to be a little rough around the edges. It also looks like a good match to the hall table in the background.
If the top’s flushness bothers you, did you try hand planing?
