I recently made two identical Corner Hutchs for my Aunt out of Red Oak. It was the first time I used biscuits. And the first really large piece of Furniture. I found out the hard way that the angled cuts are critical. The second one went together in half the time of the first. BLO finish followed by a Poly. It’s gone through all 4 seasons at her house and I’m happy to say that there is only the slightest wood movement in one door that was only noticeable by me. Each piece is actually two pieces which makes transport much easier and easily done by one person provided you have a truck!
