My brother and I managed to get this guy together based off of plans in Wood Magazine. Though we started when winter hit (and I only had a wood stove for the shop) we fought through and ended up with a very solidly built desk that I hope lasts him for many, many years. There is only glue holding down the top to the shelving units and we purposely left the edge of the ply top exposed just for a difference/contrast in textures.

@classichauler Sorry for not coming up with the dimensions. It is actually directly out of an issue of wood magazine. I will get the issue number and specifics for you.
