I built this fence at mine and my wife’s, first, “smaller” home. The entire yard was sorta odd with just 1/8 of an acre of space, a house, a 600sq ft. shop and a driveway large enough for six vehicles to park. So, to gain a little privacy from the neighbors (without alienating them), add some decor, and have a safe place to play we decided to build with this design. The design is actually VERY simple as I used colored hangers to set the horizontal rails and added a topper rail perpendicular to the other two rails. After that I worked my way from the poles roughly every three inches (did not measure out exactly) with treated 1bys until I reached the center of the section and split the difference with the last few boards.
