I made this walnut floating top table last year. It was a fun project and relatively easy/quick to make. The plans came from one of my woodworking magazines. The first top I made warped, so I had to do another. BOL finish followed by Poly.

I did the same one. But, used the birch for the aprons and legs. After it was done, my first thought was, this would look better if it was all the same wood. And it does. Nice work.

Okay, you got me. How do you make it “float”? This is a really cool design.
