This the remake of my first attempt at making a drawbore pin, the first one failed because I used the wrong size drill bit to drill the hole in the handle. The second attempt with the correct sized drill bit failed because the Mahagony blank I glued up came apart after drilling the hole in it. So this is my third attempt, which was successful. I used a solid piece of oak, hand planed the blank down to size, used Spanish Oak for the stain, tung oil, then wipe on poly. Glad this is finally completed, I learned alot and got it done just in time for use on the Traditional Sawbench I am currently building.
