Project Information

Made this straight grain cutting board for my niece .She just moved into new apartment down in DC. Wood is Walnut Maple and Bubinga .Put some rubber feet on the bottom to keep it from moving on the counter top. Finish is two coats of food safe mineral oil and a coat of Boos block board cream . Cutting board is 12×18 inches and one and a quarter inches thick .Thanks for looking Rob

robdem, you do clean work. I urge you to watch a how-to video on making end grain boards. Once you make them, you won't go back. The design options are virtually endless.

Dale made a end grain board couple of years ago didn't come out great .But gotta get back on the horse and try again . Thanks for the complement. Dale looked at your projects see you have end grain down pat they look great
