Sometimes I just fool around and make things for the fun of it. One day I am going to make a miniature tool box but so far have only made and collected a few tools. The photos show working saws, gouges and chisels that I have produced. All work perfectly and could be used for model making I suppose. The big saw was the trickiest one as I had to have a couple of goes at the handle.

John, I love the saws! What difficulty were you having with the handle? The mini tool box is on my To Do List as well. Thanks for sharing.

Those are so cool, John. That pen really gives you the perspective of how small they are. Nice work on them!!...........Jim

The problem with the handle on the big saw was that it kept falling apart when I put the blade in. There is the long slit for the blade and a tiny piece of wood where the hand grip is. The slightest pressure on the slit caused the handle to part. I solved it by making a laminated handle albeit not the way I really wanted to go.

Fantastic works of art. But did you have to let Candy see it? Now she will just have to have more tools for her collection of mini tools. Guesse who is honored with the task of searching for them? Oh well, at least I have a purpose in life. Now I have to go wash the dishes.

Cool. You just need some miniature bench planes and a miniature Roubo work bench.

Thank you for the kind comments all. All a bit of fun relief from the more intense carving that I do.
