This is a coffee table made of cherry, with some eucalyptus veneer. The white lotus flower is carved from cherry, and placed on seedy glass to look like it is on water. This piece was designed and built for a client who wanted it to serve as a center piece for his meditation practice.

Great design on the table. The flower looks nice, but I would have used poplar for it, though. I’m from the school of not painting wood, especially cherry. Looks to nice to cover it up with paint.
That being said, still a great design and craftsmanship. Great job.
