I am making a new mailbox post, but I have two prototypes and need to decide which one to use. On the left, is the empire state building, on the right is the chrysler building. What do you think?

Will the mailbox sit on top of these posts?

Nope this is the post that sticks up behind the mailbox, so nothing will cover it.

The Chrysler Building echoes the shape of my mail box, so that’s the right choice for me. Your mileage may vary … especially if you own a Chrysler!

Chrysler building doesn’t look like a typical post top but the Empire State top might be mistaken for a typical point. I recently visited New York and the Chrysler stands out on the skyline as a work of art.

Both are pretty cool.

Cool! I’d go for the Chrysler Building because it is far more unique and distinctive IMHO.

I have to go with redryder—although the least likely of the 3 ideas to get re-decorated by birds is EMPIRE!

Not the answer you were after but,

Both look good why limit your range to only one style?

At least with the empire state you wont have birds perching on your post.

King Kong never climbed the Chrysler Building, so I vote for Empire State Building!

King Kong better stay off my mailbox, or I better build it a littler sturdier!
