Otay, after using the proper sized drill bit to drill the hole for the drift pin, I had no problems fitting the drift pin into the handle, it worked just as described in the directions, imagine that ;o)
I used leftover Red Oak, Spanish Oak stain, Tung Oil and wipe on poly to finish it off; it feels very comfortable in the hand. I now need to go back and redo the large drawbore pin I screwed up a couple of days ago, this time I glued up mahogany for the new handle, hope to finish it soon.

A very neat creation of a small drawbore pin. The handle looks very pleasing to the eye. I am sure next pin will be equally good.

There is a video on Draw Bore tenons from Christopher Schwarz.

Look for Lie-Nielson Toolworks tab above the video pane and there is the video amongst a slew of other good videos.
I have bookmarked this site and plan on spending some quality time there.

Thank you Sharad.
Sawdust, thanks for the link, I have all of Chris’ DVDs, they are great and his plans are what I used to build this drawbore pin.
