University of Delaware Cornhole Boards
I built two sets of corn hole boards. One to give to friends and another to keep. The boards are built with cedar frames, 1/2 inch birch ply and 2×4 legs. The finish is two coats primer, four coats of paint and five coats of acrylic. The painting is all done with graphics printer on sheets of paper, taped to boards and meticulously cut out with a small sharp exacta knife. Very time consuming.

Can you tell I am a University of Delaware alumnus.

Nicely done! Latex primer and paints? What kinda acrylic clear did you use? I just put the tops on mine yesterday.

I used a latex primer/stain blocker (Killz) and Miniwax Polycrylic clear.

Go Big Blue! I’m a UD grad myself. Still live in Newark, in fact. Love these!

Great looking set of boards I’m currently working on sets # 4 & 5. It’s amazing how the word spreads.
